Depression, Exercise and Mindfulness


Being aware of our body and our mind and moods is central to mindfulness.  Feeling discouraged or depressed is an emotional state that visits most people on occasion.  getting some exercise, as simple as a walk in the park, can elevate one's mood by changing your awareness and focus of the moment. 

Now that winter is here, people are more housebound and are missing the sunshine of summer.  Try a little exercise to shift your mood.
