“Innate Social Behaviors in the Mouse.”

This afternoon, Dr. Catherine Dulac of Harvard University will present her research on the
“Innate Social Behaviors in the Mouse.”

Dr. Catherine Dulac’s research seeks to understand how innate social behaviors in the mouse such as mating or aggression are controlled by neuronal circuits that detect and process pheromone cues. Her work spans many levels of analysis including molecular identification of pheromones and their receptors, neuronal circuit mapping and electrophysiology, genetic manipulation, and behavioral assays of social interaction.
